Meet Shaneeka The Doula

Changing the way families experience birth.

I didn't become a doula because I always loved babies. I became a doula because I learned about the Black maternal health crisis and couldn't stop thinking about it. Knowing that Black women were experiencing significantly worse maternal outcomes made me ask myself one question: How can I help change this? That question led me to birth work, and I haven't looked back since.

Today, I'm honored to support families from all backgrounds with compassionate, evidence-based care. Whether we're preparing for birth, navigating labor, or welcoming your baby, my goal is simple: to help you feel informed, empowered, and truly supported. I want every family I work with to know their voice matters, their choices deserve to be respected.

Birth isn't just about bringing a baby into the world. It's about how you feel while doing it, and every family deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported.
